Community Fly Fishing expands access to fly fishing worldwide through innovative initiatives that welcome newcomers and connect experienced anglers worldwide. Our global community breaks down barriers to entry, fostering conservation stewardship and building lasting connections through the shared language of the water.

CFF partnered with the Bahamas Fly Fishing Industry Association, Ministry of Tourism and the Urban Renewal Centers to teach 12 high school students the basics of fly fishing in hopes to spark interest in becoming a fly fishing guide while creating additional environmental stewards for the Bahamas.
This was the first program of its kind in the Bahamas and the community was excited to learn and participate, our program started with 12 students and ended with 25 on the last day of our program. With the assistance of the donated rods, reels and fly vices / tying materials and more the Bahamas Fly Fishing Association and Ministry of Tourism will continue to teach the art of fly fishing in hopes to attract more Bahamians guides and stewards of the environment.

The Women’s Program at Community Fly Fishing creates a welcoming space for community members who identify as women to connect, learn, and experience the joy of fly fishing together. Through hands-on instruction, supportive community events, and shared time on the water, we aim to build confidence, skills, and lasting connections in the outdoors. Whether you’re brand new to fly fishing or looking to grow your experience, this program offers a supportive environment where everyone belongs.
